Think Strategically Before Making Tough Decisions

The past year has been very diffi cult and challenging. Have you and your coworkers reached a breaking point trying to do the same or more work with fewer resources? This workshop will focus on how to:

• Use your mission to evaluate, refocus, plan, and prioritize your work or services;
• Foster or build resiliency and coping skills in staff and volunteers; and
• Consider if collaboration would be worth doing now.

Spokesperson Training

When the media calls, it's important that your organization has someone who is comfortable talking to them. This half-day workshop will help nonprofit executives and program leaders learn how to talk to the media and conduct an interview. Participants will complete on-camera and in-person interviews and the instructors and other participants will offer suggestions for improvement. We encourage two-person teams to attend this workshop: the spokesperson and a communications staff person. Interview practice will be limited to 12 people per session.
